I love cinema. Seriously. Even documentaries. Why I can’t stand any kind of show. In t.h. so-called "reality".
Summer just started, I decided to watch something long. Having mastered House for the second time, I was faced with the problem of “what to see”.
I suddenly remembered that as a child I loved the program “The Investigation Conducted. ». I go to Wikipedia and read – GOES FROM 1.01.2006 to…. And I decided to remember why I loved her. After just a couple of issues I was forced to uncork the cognac, because fuck it, comrades. But I’ll start from far away.

As stated above, I love movies. Including Westerns and their later analogue – movies about the mafia of the 20-30 era and later. T.e. The "golden age" of bootleggers, Chicago typewriters and hats. Previously (1990-2005) such films were released periodically. But lately it has seen a new dawn. Two or three films were released one after another, as well as one series with Tarantino actor Steve Buscemi. Everything is quite bright and bloody. Moreover, it received quite bright and pleasant reviews from Russian viewers.

All these three projects of recent https://luckymistercasino.uk/games/ years are united by one fact – they all tell the story of the war between bandits and the police. In the 1990s, many films were released about such a war, but they were not imbued with the spirituality that was in films like “Heat”. It’s hard to explain in words. But if you watch, say, “Die Hard” number one, and then “Heat”, then you will understand me. Rather, the point here is that the brightest action films of the 90s were about a hero/heroes who exalt themselves and give out “lulya” to everyone in the end. Which is not entirely traditional for the films I’m talking about. They do not show “exaltation”, but the formation or even opposition of sides. With a complete psychological map of both “troops”. And all this because most of the scripts were not written by screenwriters, but only reality was processed.
The same thing can be seen in most films about the Italian mafia.

Bottom line. Many Russian viewers watched in awe as Robert De Niro in Goodfellas or The Godfather Part II walked, talked, shot and ran, portraying the hero and villains in films based on what happened in America during the period 1920-2000. Many studied the history of an unfamiliar state without even realizing it. Plus, in our market it was possible to buy a series of encyclopedias “Crime History” or something like that. Where you could read about famous American mafiosi, intelligence services of Russia and the world, weapons and other “goodies”.

Now let’s go back to the beginning. What prompted me to write this post?. Since 2000, films about the war on crime have been made in Russia. BUT! Lethal force, Gangster Petersburg, Kamenskaya and other series are by no means analogues of Western cinema. They have spirituality, they have a certain meaning and “absolutely new experience”, but they were written, are being written and, perhaps, will be written, based on the essays of the screenwriters. While in the history of the RSFSR and the USSR there were hundreds of terrifying, inspiring, etc., etc., etc. stories! And about thieves who mocked the police, and about maniacs who killed dozens of people, managing to fool the police by the nose!

WHY in RUSSIA do they make films about TPs, idiots, stupid idiots in war and spoil the resumes of good actors?? They have the material to make great films that may not work, but they make films that pay for themselves BEFORE distribution and bring absolutely nothing except laughs for rednecks. I’M NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS DONE ONLY IN RUSSIA. In America, too, there are companies that spoil the people’s property, but we don’t see this because we don’t know that some films are adaptations of anything or remakes that Americans remember from childhood.
And yes. I had great hopes for Stalingrad, but instead of a film about war, I saw a drama where no one could evoke a single emotion, except for the fact that THIS is being passed off as a gorgeous film about WAR and LOVE, although there is neither one nor the other. So-and-so.
